Turn over logs and flip rocks at Flag Ponds Nature Park and discover the vast life that lives beneath.  Campers will get hands on experience with native reptiles like our corn snake and terrapin! We will investigate the various habitats offered at the museum for these crawling creatures and campers will create their own “museum exhibit” for a special reptile or amphibian. Bring your curiosity and magnifying glasses to be marsh detectives at the Calvert Marine Museum. Discover the role of the unique marsh habitat and its residents, including the playful North American river otter. We will explore the museum, investigate the marsh, design a t-shirt, make otter treats, and find our way through the otter obstacle course. The journey continues with two field trips including a one-hour cruise aboard the historic W.B. Tennison.  Your marsh adventure awaits! Participants in this camp MUST be at least 6 years old at the start of camp.
